Worth £40? Don't know about that. Check out eBay first, you can buy them there for around £5.0

Can I cancel the DDebit and keep the phones after the frist £10 odd has been paid?Seth.0

I have these phones. If you intend using them while you are active then you may get a squelching sound as you move. They also create a kind of disconserting vacuum in your inner ear which i can quite get used to. On the upside they are louder than conventional phones, have good bass extension, decent all round sound quality and completely remove external noise. Mixed bag and not much use to me but a decent freebie if you were considering the mag subscription anyway0

If this is the same deal as on HotUKDeals many people were unhappy with the alternative they were sent.
Have a read.0 -
"These CX300s sound absolutely fabulous to us" What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Review

I have some of these and think they are great.
Signed up to this offer a while ago for my husband as he wants a pair (plus the mags!), and was just wondering where the free headphones were last week when they wrote to say due to demand, they had had to order some more in.
Next batch due to be sent out mid-December.0 -
I have bought a few of aebay for about £8 and if they are fake, they are very very convincing (compared to the retail packs in comet at £39.99)...
The fakes I've got do sound fine until you do a side by side comparison. Also beware that the online guides to spotting fakes such as this:
http://reviews.ebay.com/Sennheiser-CX300-Ear-Canal-Headphones-Real-vs-Fake_W0QQugidZ10000000003412742
are a bit out of date these days - there are plenty more recent fakes such as those I got in Thailand that have the correct cable length, packaging spot on etc - as I said without a direct sound comparison or opening them up it's almost impossible to tell
I personally wouldn't bother buying CX300's from ebay at all - it's just so flooded with fakes it's not worth the hassle when you can regularly pick up legit ones for around £15 from Amazon etc.0
