Ok, I have all that, I'll watch out for one with Nav & leather.

Do you want me to limit the search to 2002/2003 cars (for E class)

E270 53 is 22 -23 K
E320 03 is 24K
E320 04 is 25.5K
E320 54 is 28.5K

And if one of those had Nav the price might jump a bit higher. and you have to add on your fees.

Might as well limit the search for E Class to 02 / 03

C Class should be ok for a 03 / 04

Not bought anything from auction so am unsure of the fees, can you enlighten me?

Whatever you bid will include VAT but buyers fee will be added on top.

winning bid:............. fee:
20,000 - 20,250 = 500 pounds

22,000 - 22,250 = 540 pounds

That gives you an idea of how much it will cost. You must also pay a 10% deposit immediately to the rostrum clerk, but I think they might have changed this now to require you to pay in advance before the sale to the kiosks in the foyer, you can pay using switch or debit card or cash. You have to settle in full within 24 hours. Actually I think they have stopped accepting cash now, for amounts over XXXX dunno but maybe 10K

Most of these cars have no tax disk which is a pain if you have no trailer. Up to you how you deal with this issue.
