Hello, i'm in again, will try to update more often this month!

    Still doing my challenges
    December totals: 0/15
    September -December challenge 67/75

I wanted to use up 75 things from my stash by Christmas, mainly half-used or mini/smaller things from hotels and gift sets. I've got 8 more things to go, so feeling quite hopeful that I'll manage it.

There will be quite a few INs this month, between my H and B beauty calendar and Christmas, but it's all part of the fun!

I believe in you re the remaining 8. Are there any items you can Multitask to use quicker? Let us know what items you have. Might be able to make suggestions.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thanks for the new thread ssteveo. I’m in. I’ll add my PP List later. Opened day 1 of my Bare Minerals advent calendar yesterday and have a mini lashtopia mascara. Haven’t tried this before so pleased to have.

    Thank you dolly84 and VALM

I have dry/ dehydrated skin. Last year it was so bad in Autumn and Winter that I had flaky skin on my cheeks for weeks, nothing budged it!

Not anywhere near that bad this year - I put that down to discovering acid exfoliators, flannels, and hyaluronic acid! And whilst in Summer I could make do with fairly cheap stuff, I can never find a face cream that both moisturises my skin properly in winter, but doesn't cause mini breakouts - I have a few "under the skin" pimples at the moment between my brows and my chin.
    Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)
    Save £12k in 2021 #76 = £11,857.21/ £10,000 (118%)

I’ve used Liz Earle Skin Repair in the past and they make a dry version. I also like Lacura face creams but wouldn’t be sure which would be good for dry skin.

    Finish 12 by Christmas

Shower gel - still untouched (STILL)

Smashbox Full Exposure palette. Shimmery shadow FINISHED
Dip in matte shade. Dip no bigger.

Rich Girl from Too Faced Chocolate Gold. Pan is increasing,

Colourpop Supershock shadow Birthday Cake - used a few times. Pan does not appear to be expanding!

MAC Dare You lipstick in constant use.

NARS Gilda and Outlaw blushers. Still ongoing (as ever). Can see dips though

Confession time. I’m bored with the eyeshadow picked for this challenge and instead have mixed the remainder of one of my Smashbox matte shadows (slither) with half a pan of Stila Kitten and it’s lovely.

@kadison. Well done for marking all those items for selling! Don’t want to be sounding like I’m critiquing too much as we are all on a journey, but I’m wondering why you wouldn’t easily ditch Primark items for example when you have so many lovely items in your stash? I’m struggling to use some of my items before they expire, I’d be gutted if I let something like Elemis expire over cheaper items. Are some of your cheaper items HGs? :o xx

I have mainly wipes and face mists from primark, I try not to use wipes but those are my favourite, as for other cheap items, I try stuff out and I have many HGs that are cheap alongside others that are pricier, I like having a varied range of things :D

I also have a spreadsheet which details when I bought the item and when it was manufactured, so I make sure to use things up in rotation.

I had the Nuxe lip balm and remember it becoming gritty. I’m really enjoying the Ultrasun stick at the moment.
    Thank you.
That is what is happening. I'll use it until it really bothers me.
  • @kadison. True, the only way you’ll know if you like and can save some £s is to try the cheaper brands and see how it goes! Sounds like you are on it with your spreadsheeting; I need to up my game on that! x
