telephone / TV and t'internet - how to reduce costs?

Hi All, NOt sure if this is the correct forum to post in but asitswhere i ussually post i thought id start here.

Anyone know of any links to good comparison sites for broadband / telephone and TV packages.

At the mo i pay ( monthly)

£38 for SKY made up of sky sports and six entertainment mixes.
£20 for Virgin Media 2 for £20 package consisting of telephone and 2mb broadband + free virgin freeview ( which is upstairs)

so combined £58 a month + approx £12 of calls on teh telephone

how can i save but still keep as much as i can ( we dont go out often so sky and t'internet is the only entertainment we get lol)

Ive worked out that even if i get rid of 4 of teh entertainment packs on sky i will only save a bout £4 there

Any advice much appreciated cus could do with cutting it down somehow

check out what virgin can do in the way of the tv and switch to them

i know they do a 3 for 30 but dont think it includes sky sports but that can be added on for extra


sky also do a 3 for 30 but it will require a bt line

I take it you are not in a cable area and have the virgin adsl service
Have a look at sky's See, speak, surf package and get rid of virgin, once you are out of contract of course

How about Tiscali's £19.99/month for 8mb broadband and unlimited anytime landline calls including line rental, and buy a separate Freeview box. You'll then still have the TV if you cancel the contract.

They also do a £19.99 2mb inc. TV package and a £24.99 8mb inc. TV package, and you don't pay BT a penny for line rental, which is nice!! There also doing a free wireless router and free installation until the end of December.

I don't work for Tiscali, but I will be upgrading to the £19.99 8mb/phone package shortly!
