Sorry ds...only just saw your query.

I was talking about the one that's linked to from the OP. It highlights the next square you should be working on and also gives the answer if you're stuck.

I've just spent the best 15 minutes of my life pretending to fill in today's 'very hard' daily sudoku whilst watching OH's brow get more and more furrowed!

I input the numbers into the grid online and it gave me the answers which I quickly filled into my grid at home. Oh the fun of having a secret. :rotfl: DOn't know whether OH is more frustrated or annoyed, lol. I'll admit to it eventually. (Maybe ;) )

Lol, I get you. I was on a high when I wrote that as it's not often I get one over on him.

Ok it may not have been the best 15 minutes.....but it comes pretty close. :rotfl:

Um, I enjoy sudoku but I can take it or leave it - is there somethingn wrong with me? Everyone seems either to hate it or to be totally addicted!!! I guess I just don't have an addictive personality (sigh).

  • Thanks for the links, will cause me to spend more time on them though !
I bought the Carol Vordeman book which is full of good tips but the ' very difficult' ones in the book are a lot easier than the Telegraph ' moderate' ones.
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
    Blimey what was that ?
    That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.
  • I could not see this posted elsewhere, but I found a great page at http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/mark/sudoku/workpad.html that is a free Su Doku puzzle creator and workpad. It also solves them (not sure why anyone would want to do this really !)

You can even save the page on your pc so that you can use the program when not connected to the internet !

    Enjoy
    Regards
    Mike

Thanks for the link, how do you save the page to your PC ?
