Condensation drips from my toilet cistern onto the floor below. From looking online, one solution is just to put a fabric cover over it. I'm struggling to find one, though - can anyone point me towards where I can get one!
Thanks. Hope this is in the right forum - please move if not.

Errrrrr..... fix your toilet???0

Presumably from condensation forming on the cistern.
There must be a lot of humidity for this to happen - is the extractor fan up to the job?0 -
Open a window?0

Per the previous posters, fix the condensation problem first. A fabric cover hold the moisture and stop dripping sounds like a bad idea
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0 -
Improve ventilation and/or heat the room?
If that's not an option, I'd just get an old towel and fold it where the drips land, then wash it regularly.0 -
Thanks. I do open the window regularly, and heat the room (not baking, but comfortable). It may be a temporary thing - the shower there is being used much more often than usual, as the other is broken. I think the water is also coming in really cold, which doesn't help!
Might go for the towel option, and see if it improves when the other shower is working!0 -
My cistern used to have a lot of condensation on it after I'd had a shower especially if I'd also just flushed the toilet & it refilled with icy cold water.
Opening the window & running the fan didn't help much as the moisture in the air condensed as soon as it hit the cold surface. I just wiped it down but it didn't really dry off until the cold water warmed up to room temp. Luckily it wasn't dripping wet.
A dehumidifier keeping the whole house at about 55% humidity seems to have helped this winter as I've not noticed it yet this year.0 -
I keep a microfleece cloth folded behind the cistern and wipe the cistern down whenever I notice it/remember. It keeps the condensation down and I just wash it regularly. It's only a winter problem. The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

We had this problem . When our bathroom was replaced in the spring I asked the fitter about it. He said that condensation should be less of a problem with a modern cistern as they were smaller and contained less water so weren't as cold. I've not noticed any condensation yet but am keeping a close eye on it.0
