cellulite cream

Can anyone help re this! A few months ago in the Daily Mail they did a review of cellulite creams, and one of them was supposed to show an immediate tightening effect on the thighs on application! Does anyone remember the article and can remember the name of the cream?

Just a quick tip anything that gets the circulation going around the affected areas will help get rid of the cellulite.

I used to moisturise my body every day (no exercise) and not have any cellulite. When I started to slip with the regime I started to get it. Doesn't have to be a particular expensive moisturiser just take some time to massage it in. Cycling, walking/running is great exercise for keeping cellulite at bay :j
:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:

This is gonna sound totally mad - but i use left over coffee granules as a cellulite combating body scrub (I mean proper coffee not nescafe granules of course!) - honestly, it really does work!
I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!

Cool. Tesco use to do a spa body scrub that had salt as the exfoliant. So I guess anything that is suitably coarse is good enough. Would need to ensure what ever you use doesnt block the plug. I have visions of the Jasper Carrot version of the Flake advert (the one with the woman in the over flowing bath)- problem caused by the plug being blocked with Flake wrappers!

    hee hee!
As well as the exfoliating action - its the caffeine - thats whats in all those zingy cellulite creams on the shelves. Drinking coffee actually shrinks fat cells - apparently.. so i I drink mine with chocolate biscuits they can cancel each other out - well thats my excuse anyway!! :D

I heard this is really effective too. Unfortunately I don't drink coffee - so I dry skin brush instead. You can buy the brushes from any kind of health & beauty place or supermarket and basically you brush your skin in small circular movements. Best to do in the morning before a shower but any time of day is good. Is a really good habit to get into, you are giving yourself a massage, aswell as getting rid of your dead skin cells ontop of busting your cellulite. Makes you feel great and you know it's doing you loads of good!
    Hope this helps :p
Ooh, also drink loads of water.
    Money was my kryptonite.

I'm working on making it my spinach!

All the above is good advice! But, its a specific cream that when you put it on you get an immediate tightening effect so that you can go bare legged and maybe with a shortish skirt and look ok!! ( I know I shouldn't expect miracles but I can dream can't I??)

    Hello
I remember last year reading an article from one of the glossies and they did this test. They took photo's of 4 ladies with their cellulite. Then 1 had some posh beauty treatment thingy - cost hundreds of pounds. One joined the gym and one had a posh anti cellulite cream. The last one was given an exfoliatng brush and told to use it once day. I think the test went on for about 8weeks.

The girl with the brush won! The before and after pictures were amaxing. you could only notice a difference with the brush!!

So now all I do is brush or use a sponge/flannel every day in the shower. They recommend going over the area in circular motions.
I hardly have any cellulite and I am a size 14 so really thats not bad :-).

  • I've been using Boots own pre-holiday skin treatment.

It has a small amount of fake tan in it and is SO good that after my first application my husband said I looked less bumpy and had a nice tan (Yup a man noticing the change...)
