Pork and beef mince bargain in Aldi

Hello,
A couple of months ago I discovered that Aldi were selling 750g packs of of Pork and beef mince mix for £2.99. This seems to be a full time stocked line and compared to beef mince it's so much cheaper!
No doubt fattier (I just don't use any oil at all when cooking it), however to put into perspective, this is how far a 750g pack goes in this house....
I don't weigh portions out, but I make 10 meatballs, serves 2 of us just fine, guess they weigh about 20g each so that's approx 200g. I serve these with a simple tomato and basil sauce and spaghetti.
Then I bag the rest of the mince up and put in the freezer. One large bag, appx 350g to make a chilli with, will feed 2 of us with rice for dinner and enough leftovers for lunch the next day with jacket potatoes and cheese.
The smaller bag that I freeze I make a spag bol with.
Absolute bargain for 10 meals with a protein cost of around 30p per portion and delicious too x

I asked a Greek taverna owner about his soutsoukakia (meatballs to you and me ) and he said they use a beef and pork mix.
I've heard Gino D'Acampo say the same.
I've not noticed the packs in Aldi, I usually mix my own as I pick up reduced pork mince quite often.0 -
I use pork and beef mince and sometimes I whizz up some chorizo and mix it in with the mince and use the jar of spanish cook in sauce to make a Spanish version.0
