1129LM1 Tax Code??

I moved jobs in May from an annual salary + commission role - had a tax code of 1250L. I had the normal emergency tax code with my first pay slip from my new company but has now been changed to 1129LM1. I am still doing a role that involves earning commission but thought it would have regulated by now. Can anyone explain this??

Your code has been reduced for some reason. Log onto your personal tax account and that should show how the code has been calculated.

Do you receive any benefits in your new role such as private healthcare?
  • You may well owe tax due to being paid twice in the same tax month.

A common occurrence when you change jobs part way through the year.
