All of our neighbours purchased theirs at 427 or 430 which is why I used those figures.

Were there any incentives included that inflate these figures?
  • Thanks very much everyone for your suggestions and help.

Sadly I don’t think Kensington allow any retention on their help to buy.

The house price wasn’t inclusive of any incentives. Brand new houses on the estate have just started to be built again and the same house is selling for £430.

A smaller second hand home has just sold for £375 and so the valuation of £365 for us just seems so strange!

I am guessing this isn’t a common problem as I haven’t been able to find anyone else on our estate or locally that has had the same issue when remortgaging.
