Council Tax Changes

Hi all, don’t know if this is the right place to ask but my boyfriend is planning on moving in with me early next year. (Rented property) Does anyone know how him moving in during the tax year will affect how much council tax I will pay? Is it for the whole year or just the months he is living here during this tax year?

assuming you receive single person discount, this will stop from the date he moves in and they will recalculate the new amount from this date
