    There is a paper white, an ordinary kindle & a child’s kindle.

    What one does your son have?

    I went for the child’s one, it included a years unlimited children’s books, worth £24, a case, probably worth £6 - so really £30 for the kindle. Worth it to see how he gets on with it.
