I have news - I've been accepted to participate in some research (it's into blood glucose and cognitive function) it'll pay £60 (of course the chancellor will take his share), but I'll be left with some to put towards a debt!

All this talk of food is making me think that I need to go have some food - thank goodness Wayne is cooking as we speak (he is well trained)

I've just added a few auctions on ebay... fingers crossed they don't close me down again. This has been a flippin nightmare, I've got a ton of stuff to sell which all together will bring in about £12,000 (a bunch of sound equipment we don't need). But, ebay seem to think I am some sort of a fraud (despite having every form of ID known to man) and they keep throwing me out. I don't hold out a lot of hope to be honest so I just listed a few small items to start with.

This time I have a new IP address and am registered as the business so I might get away with it. Back to 0 feedback too grrrrrr.

  • I'm a bit peeved.

I ordered two home brew ale kits from a shop (through Quidco which is why I chose them) and they have arrived. One of them is bashed big style on all sides. It looks like a 4 pronged grabber has picked it up, it's a mess. The other one is fine and the box wasn't damaged so it must have been packed like that.

I've emailed the company twice now (first one last week) saying how disappointed I am as it is for a Christmas present and obviously I can't give it like that. It was £15.99 so not a huge amount, but it's £15.99 I don't want to have to re-spend.

No reply to either email.

I might have to rack it up a gear and phone them. I ain't a happy bunny that they haven't the courtesy to reply at all.

I've emailed and phoned the company I used, and never get an answer.

Having since researched the company (why didnt I do that before  ) I have found out that they have a dreadful reputation, but like you, I assumed that Quidco and Kelkoo companies were OK
