Morning Free.
Still sleepy despite two cups of coffee. I really should migrate at this time of year and come back in April/May.
Anyway, I'm hoping this will be a NSD as my lunch meeting will be catered and the leavers lunch will be paid for by my boss (yes, I'm having TWO lunches today :rotfl:). I'm in training for Christmas Lunch(es) Day in December when I have the other two :rotfl: . Just as well I go to the gym often!
Wishing everyone a good day :hello:The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420 -

Morning free, PaP and all :hello: :hello:
It's going to be another NSD today. :T :T
I've just had another offer of a job interview - the basic salary is twice what ASDA are paying me, and there is commission - so I'm going to do a lot of thinking today - hope my brain is up to it, but at least thought is free.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

It's a bit like waiting for a bus, free. You can wait all day and see none, then three or four come along at once.
Seriously, though, I took on the ASDA job because I, too, had been without work, or benefits, for a year. I HAD been applying for jobs, which I felt were more suitable, but only had three interviews in a year. The ASDA job is 'part-time' (22 hours a week) and pays just over minimum wage but I needed to 'put bread on the table'. I enjoy the job, although it is more physically than mentally tiring, and ASDA are nice people, but I have to look for the best option.
I hope you have better luck soon, free.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
