Instagram is an app on my phone, so not browsed via internet.
However, I just tried to look online trying to find this.
Couldn't find the exact vid but I see some people have posted a box of bricks to ukip's freepost address. If that was real then it shows you can send parcels (not just whatever fits into the envelope only) but obviously doesn't prove you can post to another address (yes I know freepost is different).0 -
Not sure where else to put this but here goes.
I saw a short vid on instagram that a 'hack' was to use the stamp on a company pre paid envelope (usually comes with charity letters etc) to send your own post including parcels. These are not actual sticker stamps with the queens head on, but more like a printed thing with 1 or 2 on it to indicate postage paid.
Anyone knows whether this is true and will work?
I always thought those sort of stamps have a code and only goes to the company address.
You are sticking a piece of paper on. Thats it.
Freeposts are linked to specific licences and accounts.
Expect the item to be surcharged.0 -

That's only freepost, and you'd have to find a post office willing to accept the parcel (and don't forget you'll be on CCTV). Still illegal though, and IMHO given the recipient you've quoted above, a waste of a perfectly good brick. (Freepost isn't free by the way, it's paid for by the freepost account holder, you don't need to cut out the label, just write the freepost address on the package)
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0
