I have been comping for about 14 years and have had some fantastic prizes.

I have not won anything for almost 2 years now, but see that there are still lots of prizes out there to be had.

I've won quite a few times this year. Mostly of my wins have been small prizes such as 20p from topcashback. My larger prizes have been from mag daily competitions (although those are few and far between nowadays). I have won a few smaller prizes from rafflecopter and gleam and 1 from twitter and £100 from emailing in for The Sun crossword.

    Good luck.

Facebook and Gleams are where most of my wins have come from.
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.
  • My biggest win to date was a £4000 super kingsize bed but at the end of the day I had to turn it down because I simply couldn't accommodate it - the comp page had a double bed as the illustration, which was very misleading. Ironically I won a £1000 double mattress a couple of months later and that is on my bed now, I also won a £1000 diamond solitaire necklace a few years ago, also 'phones for all the family' four mobile phones which added up to about £1500. Most recently I have won some bamboo socks, a twenty-five cheque from a magazine comp, a DVD and a box of flapjacks. You just have to keep going. Got to be in it to win it lol.
  • Wow, that was both fortunate and unfortunate the same time!:D Did they offer you any compensation since you couldn't accept the price? You couldn't just accept it and sell it instead?

  • what wins? I have won one advent this year and it was a voucher for a travel company. When I looked at the holidays, they were well beyond my means even with £250 taken off so I told them to re-draw, (hoping they would take pity and send me a small consolation-but no!). It was from facebook though-my first ever win from there and i have a timeline full of junk to show how many likes I've given hopefully in the past. Ive had a go at twitter and more recently instagram but they want you to tag loads of people and make a nuisance of yourself so no luck there. Most competitions are on social media and 1000s enter so although I keep going, I'm not sure why. I have had the odd mags win. That's about all .I used to win some nice things too. Alas a distant memory now...
  • I asked if I could have a double bed instead, the answer was no, and it did cross my mind to sell it, but can you imagine how much space it would have taken up whilst being stored? I couldn't accommodate that either :(

Mags for me, usually two to three wins per year
  • I win around 10 comps a month - 1 or 2 come from Twitter, 2 or 3 from Facebook but most from websites, Radio (websites) and blogs (gleam and raf).

Only been comping since May, but won some biggies such as a GoPro Camera, Spa Break, £1000 Tech Bundle, Royal Mint Coin, Helicopter Ride, Digital Piano, £300 Ikea Vouchers.

I've been very lucky and I hope you all have the same luck next year :)

(If it helps, I've entered loads of comps on Insta and daily mags but never won anything)
    (Started Comping May 19)
    Sep 19 - 12 wins! Aug 19 - 9 wins! July - 10 wins! June - 7 wins! :j
