Mortgage for Supply Teacher

Hi All,
First time post!
Recently married my wife, she's from Newcastle + we moved to Belfast where i am from. She had over 5 years teaching permanent in Newcastle before moving here. We were told it was very diffcult for Sophie to get a full-time job here teaching initially, so she went around 200 schools passing round her CV, it didn't take a day until she was in a school nearby teaching. The teacher of the class has just went off on maternity + Sophie is in full-time covering her maternity. Now i know that means the job should come to an end blah blah. However, is it still possible to get a mortgage? I work full time earning between 30k, around 35 with bonuses. In receipt of company car. On our incomes we could easily cover the mortgage- it's just will banks accept the supply part?
Brief breakdown:
Sophie as only been in the supply job 2 months- before that she was still being paid from her permanent job, so there's no break in monthly wages as such.
We have a hefty enough deposit of around 60k, the house is 300k.
No adverse credit.
Thanks in advance,
Jack

Have you thought of contacting https://www.teachersbs.co.uk/ and asking?
"12 months contract history with current employer, or for qualified teachers 12 months current history of teaching, with 6 months remaining on current contract at application. Alternatively 18 months contract history in same line of work and 6 months remaining on current contract at application."0 -
We have now contacted them. Thank you!0
