New Mortgage Santander Process via MB

  • Its frustrating as we will be back at the end of the queue again
  • I completely get why you are stressed, but with my broker hat on, it looks like the application went in on the 13th, valuation was done on the 20th and today is the 26th. As per the santander intermediary service level status, the current average resi offer time is 12 days, so it's only slightly over that now.

It is normal for the lender to sometimes ask for additional documentation that the broker did not foresee, nothing to worry about yet.

Hi, in a simular situation to you, waiting to hear back from our application via MB with Santander.

25/11 - Application submitted by broker
    25/11 - Valuation booked
    26/11 - Valuation completed
27/11 - Requested more information - confirmation of names and copy of my P60

    Getting worried now!
  • Hopefully i hear back sone. As there Service Levels state that they are reviewing underwriters from the 23rd now.

If you google Santander For Intermediaries Service Levels. You should see what they are up to date wise.
  • So we were asked re-submit my Tax Calculations as for this year due to the being processed at 90% and not 100 % when we sent the statement off. Looking on the HMRC site they are now 100% so we have sent this off now. So, all fingers crossed.

should have been spotted prior to application submission to be honest
  • Can't agree more. The whole thing is a nightmare.

28/11 - Received confirmation from broker that they had sent docs to Santander.

29/11 - update from broker that they wanted 2017/18's P60, anyone know why they would be needed that? I've have quite a large payrise since then so I cant see the relevance of it?!

Means we are in the back on the queue again. We are buying a new build and they want us completed in December so I'm getting anxious now! :(
