Black Friday console reductions

Don't know if you've seen the recent Which? story that only 1 in 20 Black Friday deals are actually a deal. According to Which, prices will have been less in the 6 months before or after BF. I'd track it for a bit, then buy when the price is right for you - at least until it came back down to £209 or less. Bear in mind PS5 next year, so PS4 prices should start to fall

Not a great deal happening though have been pointed to a few ps4 pros from 299 or 209 with c.o.d. 2019.
Or 1 eBay ps4 slim non pro 234 with c.o.d.
That's the only tempting ones as yet.
As much as I had also enjoyed xbox one for a while, I'de rather miss the battery packs for controllers.
Ps4 usb charging wins on that point.
Though Xbox online is very good indeed

Black Friday is like a second referendum. Prices might be lower in the summer or spring, but it's a chance in the run up to christmas to get a bargain while demand is pushing prices higher.

Is £299 a good deal then for a PS4 Pro with game? Was kind of hoping for less than that today.
The one referred to on the MSE website at Maplins for £249 isn't a Pro despite what it says on MSE

299 is very reasonable for pro
I'm going non pro 199 with cod only as I paid full cost last time.
Only boggle is ps5 is not far away.
