Remortgage approved. What now

Good afternoon everyone.
I recently came to the end of my fixed rate with Halifax. The deals they were offering were pretty poor, so I decided to apply to switch to a 5 year fixed with HSBC. Now normally I'd have preferred to do this at a branch. But after one cancelled appointment and a 9 day wait to make another. I have done the application online.
I have had the valuation done, and a text to confirm that the mortgage has been approved. But do I have to notify Halifax? Or will HSBC notify them for me?

Does your remortgage deal include free legals?0

No fees. When applying, it said that hsbc will provide a solicitor or licensed converancer to deal with the legal side of things.
