Help me please!!

Ok i really need your help Iam upset and so angry at myself!!

On wednesday we get £267.20
But i need to pay the following
£34.23 to debt agency (virgin media from my old house, and cant miss it as first payment as just arranged it)
20.00 to provident on friday (for friday and the following friday as i pay every 2 weeks)
£48.37to virgin for telephone,net,tv
£40.00 to my oh's mum that we had to lend at the weekend
£40.00 (20.00 for gas and 20.00 for elec both direct debit)
£29.28 Next as its due 5th dec and i have made a standing order over internet banking on wed to get it to them b4 the 5th dec.
Pauls Mobile as been cut off £35.00

That leaves me with £0.32!!

What am i going to do?
I have 14.80 in bank to last till wednesday. I have put a 46.00 cheque in bank today and clears thursday but with that i need to send 21books and what ever is mine is what i sold books for. So I think il have say £20. But i was saving that for kids xmas.

This is what we get a month

Income - £11.87.48
This is what we pay a month:
£39 OH's littlewoods
£27.20 My Littlewoods
£30.00 Visa
£40.00 Gas/ Electric
£11.27 More Than Home Insurance
£100.00 Phone bill (round about) I know its alot but both my mum and dad live in 2 diff countrys..and i call my mum every day, but on cheap international rates. Also this is our first bill since being here so is a estimate.
£40.00 Provident (every 2 weeks £20)
£30.00 Next
£68.46 Debt agencyfor virgin (i pay half of this every 2 weeks)
Orange £10 a month at mo (debt agency)
£13.36 a month for water

Think that is it. I cant seem to work out how much i need to save for those bills every week.

Also one week we get £185.60 (job seekers) plus £81.57 (child tax)
the week after we get just £81.57 (child tax) and so on.
£370 housing benifit but we dont pay rent till April..so this is what we live off also at moment and this is paid every 4 weeks, Next one on 10th which will go towards xmas.
£120.00 Child benifit every 4 weeks

So as you can see every other week when we get Just £81.57 we struggle alot.

I just cant seem to find out how much i need to save each week for these bills so i always have the money there when i need to pay them instead of struggling.

Thanks in advance

The one thing that jumps out at me is phone useage - £100 (estimate) phone bill, plus £48.37 to virgin, which includes phone, plus Paul's mobile £35.

I appreciate your phone useage is heavy, with your parents living abroad, but this is a huge amount to be spending in relation to your income.

I know it wont help this month, as the bills have already been run up, so need paying, but could this be cut right down to stop you being in the same position next month?

Could your parents ring you? Or maybe investigate some sort of internetty phoney thingy (help, techy people?)?

  • I didnt read all your SOA, not being rude really, just that 2 things jumped off the page at me.

    Its about internet and phones

I was baffled that you have arrears with virgin media from a previous address and yet they still extend credit:confused:

But the money saving bit:j You have Cable Broadband so you dont really need their phone as well, it means you are paying twice for the same thing

I suggest you get rid of the phone after some nice person has bought you an Analogue Telephone Adaptor for christmas:money: Then get VOIP instead of the phone. Use someone like sipgate.co.uk (will cost you £10) to get a local number that folks can phone you on, and a second account with voipcheap.com (Not .co.uk) this will cost you €12.50 for €10 worth of calls, but the first 90 days are FREE to landline numbers across most of the world subject to a FUP of 300mins a week

Oh and when you call virgin about the phone ask to speak to retentions and see if you can get a reduction on the TV:rotfl:

Now I will read the rest of the SOA

    Hey mumzy.

Ok, first of all have you included everything? what about tv license? car costs? water rates?

At the moment I am adding your expenses up to being £395.93. Now, that is monthly but your income is weekly. I am all for an easy life personally so in your position I would have the JSA paid into a bills account seperate from the tax credit account and have all dds coming from the JSA account. This would mean you never see that money but then you never spend it either and the bills are covered. You would then know you have the tax credit every week as your living money for food etc.

Ok I am on the 3 for 20pound package..i also have a package where i can call anytime to landline numbers for free, but i pay i think about 19pound a month for this. I also pay £1.50 for interntional calls. Iam also on a 12month contract with virgin as i have just moved home and found this the cheapest at the time. Iam in debt with Virgin from my old house due to the fact i had to break the contract, as from moving from my old house to here we stayed at my oh's mums and obv she already had a phone with BT. They charged me 180pound for breaking the contract. I couldnt afford to pay it. Also the phone, net,tv we have here now is in my partners name thats the only reason they gave us a virgin here , they do not know i live here :$ as the debt from my old house with virgin is registered at my oh's mums as i do not run away from my debt. Hope that helps.
Tomorrow i will ring up cancell international calls £1.50 and talk unlimited £19 saving me money
