Shared ownership & owning a property abroad

Hi there
I have a question regarding buying a shared ownership property. I have flat abroad do I still qualify for the scheme. I have read online that it is still possible. Is that true?

    Have you by any chance looked at the criteria for shared ownership ?
  • You don't need to be a first time buyer, to buy shared ownership. 

    However, you cannot own another property at the time of the shared ownership purchase. You have to sell your current property first.
