Expat in UAE wanting UK Mortgage

I am a British Expat currently living in the UAE. I am wanting to buy my first property and rent it to a family member while i am here so that i have a property to return to.
Does anyone know of a reliable mortgage broker that could help me with this?

You need a regulated buy to let for expats with no current residential uk mortgage. I think you will struggle.

Plenty of brokers around who can help with expat BTL mortgages. Your situation of wanting to rent to family is not unusual for expats. We used to refer expat leads to a Manchester based broker called Liquid Expat, always got decent feedback about them. This is from a couple of years ago, don't know how they are now.

Your chances go up if you are looking to borrow a decent amount, have a large deposit, work for a corporate employer, been in this employment for a while, paid in USD/EUR etc.

If you do get in touch with Liquid, do feedback if possible, would be nice to know how their customer service is now.
