2020 Compers Challenge

Just popping by to report some wins, first gleam win of the year a lovely pair of personalised coasters from Dust and Things and a book from Yours which I'm looking forward to reading as part of my reading challenge despite it being a weepy. This is the fifth book I've won this year so it looks like it's going to be a year of books instead of DVDs.

I'm doing the majority of my comping elsewhere until the ability to hover and skip from the main page returns. It's a lot quicker being able to filter, hide and ignore social media competitions with a click of a button.

Good luck everyone taking part in the 1000 entries challenge for Winning Moments Online it'll be interesting to see whether or not it results in any wins. Anyone else got any wins to report?

I've decided that as I haven't got any hope of completing all the challenges that I'm going to abandon half of them and then I have more hope of doing what I have left.  I'm sorry to those of you who put thought into thinking up interesting challenges, but I think I need to have a more realistic aim.

I'm sorry you feel like this so early on in the year @Marg2k8 but I completely understand as I opted out of the 1000 challenges before the 2020 challenge even started. I'm starting to think I've bitten off more than I can chew as the number of prizes up for grabs this year has decreased once again. I'm currently allocating everything I win to I've won a competition hosted by... as it's simple and straightforward. I'll move things around as the year goes on if the wins pick up. I'm just playing it by ear right now.

Remember comping is meant to be FUN.

Has everyone else abandoned ship it's like a ghost town round here.

I still enjoy comping, but even though I've abandoned half the challenges, I would still need to win another 47 prizes to complete the ones I have left. I don't think I have ever won anywhere 50 competitions in a year, so unless the comping fairy is feeling exceptionally generous, I still won't complete what I have left. 

Perhaps it is quiet because people are still getting to grips with the new forum.

I don't do the C2w comps so won't do those challenges and not actually counting entries for types entered but will have a go at completing some of the others -  there are rather a lot of them!

Those are my ladies Fizz and Kite
