freezing passata

I buy cartons of passata from lidl as they are cheaper than smaller cartons in other supermarkets and only ever use about half can i freeze the remainder or how long will it keep in the fridge once open

I'm not sure how long it wil last in the fridge, but I generally use it within a week.
You can certainly freeze it. Fold over the top of the carton and put a peg on the top to seal it, or decant it into a plastic tub if you prefer.0
