    I was under the impression this was expected to pay for itself in 7 years.
    As I understand it they are going to nationalise Open Reach and other providers and it will be expensive and be impossible to do in time scale.

    No. It is the way to bribe voters ....
    They mention all good about what people wanted to hear ... Even Though rule it is not going to work ....

    THe same thing when LibDem make promise about the abolition of tuition fee ...

    That's the problem with Labours manifesto to many bribes and ideological driven policies that make it totally unaffordable, whereas if they concentrated on main problems facing electorate it would have been easier to vote for.
