  • Surely it is false advertising as it says this

'. If however you are delayed you don’t have to worry your meal will be ruined as Sear and Stew will automatically switch to a two hour keep warm to keep your meal at the right temperature and tasting great'

Been following this thread as I am after an updated slow Cooker

Certainly Asda have made an error. There is no timer so the machine would not know when the food was cooked. Its not clever enough to know what food is in it, so impossible for it to detect it was ready so needing to now be merely kept warm.

I love it though. Works perfect for our purposes.

  • Can anyone advise

Is there sear and stew safe to be left on all day- say from 0700 to 1800 so eleven hours?

(if you had it on low)
    With love, POSR <3

I'm not sure if you mean left to do the whole process or if you would supervise the 'sear' part of the process as it would need stirred or turned? If it's the latter, the one I have would be fine once the liquid and other ingredients had been added. (I tend to lower the temperature down then and leave it for whatever time I select.) Sorry if I misunderstand your question.
