Countdown champion trophy

HI,
A number of years ago I won the TV show countdown and subsequently won a crystal trophy for it. There are only currently 81 of these trophies in the world, as there only 81 winners. I would quite like to sell mine if I thought I could make enough profit. Any idea what sort of price something like this could (potentially) go for, or how I could find this out?

First question you need to ask is how many people want someone else's Countdown trophy. If there is no intrinsic value in it being a Countdown trophy, then it would would just be the value of a secondhand piece of Crystal.
There must surely be a Facebook (or similar) Countdown site or even a Countdown Appreciation website. Have you tried Googling for these.
PS have just looked at Countdown wiki, but would not seem to be much help for your request, unless you can post your request on thereIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
I tend to agree with lincroft, I buy estate goods and very often get all sorts of medals and presentation cups, trophies etc - some quite prestigious, and unless they are silver I charity shop them as they have no value.
Give it a try on ebay or some other marketplace, see if you get any interest.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. A countdown appreciation website. :rotfl::rotfl: sounds like a rockin' time. The only reason to watch Countdown is for that young lady who deals the letters. It makes Pointless seem exciting.
I think you are right though, the value will come from what the trophy is made out of, as opposed to what it is. I cannot imagine it would be life changingly valuable.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

Thanks for your responses, gonna stick it on ebay and see what interest i get. I managed to sell my dictionaries for 400 pounds, so hopefully see what I can get for this. Aiming for (don't laugh) a few grand, hopefully I'll find a huge old rich fan somewhere :rotfl:.I'll let you all know how it goes/ Please post here/pm me if interested0

Not the most reliable comparison, I know.....but whenever a golfer makes an eagle at the masters they get a crystal goblet, which I would assume is probably better quality then the countdown one. These are worth $2k...
So I wouldn't get tooooo excited.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890
