Flatwarming ideas for booze, nibbles and glasses?

Having a flat warming party, looking for general ideas and also sources for reasonably priced alcohol, nibbles and drinking glasses?

  • Majestic let you hire glasses, also you can return unopened bottles of booze.

    Nibbles just stock up on the Christmas nibble stuff from any supermarket.

    A quick phone call to your local Tesco or Sainsbury supermarket to see if they do free glass hire, and whether you can return unopened bottles of booze that you've bought from them.

    Don’t forget that these days lots of people don’t drink alcohol but want something more than orange juice or orange juice.

    Punches are nice, with or without alcohol. I used to make Delia Smiths recipe for small gatherings and there were never any leftovers :D
