My Dad's pension - does he even have one?

Hello,
Sorry if this is a bit vague but I would like some advice about where I should go or who to talk to.
My Dad is a Greek national and is now living in Greece after spending a significant amount of time working in the UK.
I am wondering if he has any state pension entitlement after having paid tax and NI in the UK. How would I go about finding this out? All I have is his national insurance number.
Many thanks for any advice you can think of!

I'm assuming your dad doesn't have a government gateway account, or a UK address, so you can't check online?
Might be quicker to ring: https://www.gov.uk/future-pension-centre?_ga=2.247898884.2022345442.1573399968-1476102660.1573399968Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
https://www.gov.uk/international-pension-centre might be worth a try.0

I don't think he has ever touched a computer. Maybe I can try to do this for him.0

I did this recently for a relative.
It did verify her electronically from her passport.
He might find it difficult to verify on line if he doesn’t have a driving licence, passport or similar.0
