1914 George V penny -worth anything?

Sorry is not the right forum but during a clear out I came across a old coin-1914 King George V One Penny coin.

I know nothing about this type of thing but would anyone here be able to help in terms of any value please?

There is a British coin from around the 1st WW era that can be worth a five figure sum but i can remember if its from the first year or the last year of the war.

Those valuable coins have been faked a lot by splicing another date letter into a more common coin. Even those fakes have a value but probably no more than twenty quid.

Id say be careful with it. Chances are its worth naff all but there are plenty of greedy dealers will try to beg it off you, if its right. Ebay might show you the more common coins and how much they have sold for but probably not if yours is one of the rare ones, so get it under the nose of a proper sale room for appraisal.
