Where are all the comps?

Hi all,


I used to comp here around 8 or so years ago & there were always hundreds to enter, I'd get swamped down with the amount involved; now it feels like there's so many less & there's an eerie, almost lifeless, feel to these boards.



Are there more comps out there but less people posting here? Have people gone to other sites? Or is there just generally less competitions being posted nowadays from companies?


And how are the wins nowadays?

There are somewhere around 3,000 on the main board so I don't know where you are looking.

That's true. It just feels like there's less than normal. I'm sure by the time Advents come around I'll feel differently haha.

There definitely are less, I remember the main board running to 250 - 300 pages, now we seem to be hovering around the 150 pages mark.

Might have slowed a wee bit because people are saving their prizes / time for an advent, or could just be that there aren't as many shops now to offer competitions (Thanks Amazon).

Sometimes, the search engine goes on strike and pretends that nothing has been posted for weeks. That can be odd.
