Selfbuild Mortgage

Hi
I have a self build mortgage that I took out in Jan this year and decided I would not go with a warranty provider due to cost.
By doing this I would need to get the build inspected at each stage by and independent person.
In the Mortgage guidance documentation it states the following.
If you decide against using a structural warranty provider, and use an Architect certification, the lender also requires Technical Audits at each building stage to support the architects sign off. These must but carried out by a member of the CCI (arranged via Buildstore) at a cost of £200 + VAT per stage.
When I contacted Buildstore to arranger this they are now stating it is £350 plus VAT
Can you advise if they can do this or is the £200 +vat just guidance
thanks

Buildstore can put their prices up if they want to, I suspect that the price was correct at the time of printing.0
