You don't need any extra documentation. Everything happens online. You can choose the date when you want to switch to new product. So if you have couple of months left but your current rate is higher, it's worth changing it at the earliest available date. If you have lower rate now and changing to higher rate, best to wait out until latest posibble date. Nationwide will give you a choice of starting dates. If I remember correctly, it will be 1st of the month and you will have next few months to choose from.0
