Keepcalm posted in the summer to say that they had seen the doctor and been signed off for two months. It's none of our business what or why but I would hope that they are able to go back to the GP if needed and that any help is being given.
I appreciate the input Elsien but its yet another contradiction
    Ne'er ne'er.

37 year old having the p!ss ripped out of them not so long back about 'resigning in the car park' over a temporary job that was only ever to last two months.

Nearly 3 months on as zero hours. (General Manager who recruited me has since left but still.!)

Direct ref to the signing off incident, thumbing the nose, has worked since June through to September.

Please don't try to make out that we are all here picking on someone signed off from work, as thats not the case

    My 2p worth.

Some sort of performance artist, posting for effect.

The effect is to illustrate that advice on the internet cannot be considered absolute, or legally sound, and could make the OP seek more rounded, less biased advice from a professional.

Whilst the forum remains a useful source of information and guidance, it also provides entertainment for others - recent thread about free Uni education illustrates.

Personally if I think the OP is asking for genuine advice, I think the OP would find their interjections confusing and annoying but if its another wind up merchant or someone simply complaining thet life is unfair, I don't mind.

As I say, just my 2p worth.

I agree on that point. But then they posted to say that wasn't the case at all and had worked throughout.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

I like your 2p worth, and something I'd not considered. So if anything, I've got use out of this thread.
