In September of 2017 I posted here regarding my Grandson having gained a 2.2 in Physics. I was concerned about how I could help and support him. I was given lots and lots of great advice and general information on this forum for which I was very grateful. He knows I am very much in his corner.
I wanted to let all those who took the time to offer that advice that he has just completed a Masters in Computer Sciences and gained a distinction from University of Birmingham. He is very happy and has enjoyed the course. I am delighted naturally and it looks like he may have a job in the not too distant future.
Thanks again to all you wonderful people who offered me support when I was concerned about his future.

Sue

    Thank you 😀
  • thanks for updating and good on him
Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked

Thanks I thought it only right to come back and update you. He called to see me this afternoon. He is a lovely young man even though I say it myself..He graduates on 10 th December and hopes to get an extra ticket so I can attend..I paid his rent and bills for the past year but my investment has paid dividends. His problem originally he says that he was unsure of exactly what he wanted to do.
    Thanks again Sue

Yesterday I attended my Grandson's Graduation at the University of Birmingham. So very proud of him. He insisted in me being in the official Family photo and reluctantly I had to agree. Thanks again to all those who gave me advice back when he had just gained his Physics degree. Sue
