Pensionbee/ nest

Hi
I have a couple of running pensions but need to get someone to look at them to see if the should be moved
I haven’t got a huge amount in them and they are with standard life
I have asked a IFA in the past but the charges were high and would have taken what seemed like a large amount from a small fund
Could transferring to pensionbee or nest ( there are probably others too) a good option or are they a bad idea?
Any views appreciated
Thanks

Do you have a workplace pension as well as the two you mention?
What is the value of the pensions?
How old are you now?
When do you hope to retire?0 -
Start by asking Standard Life if they can be transferred within Standard Life to more modern contracts with lower charges.0

If the funds are below £50K , then most IFA's will not be that interested and/or charge disproportionately high fee .I have asked a IFA in the past but the charges were high and would have taken what seemed like a large amount from a small fund
It's less important which provider you use than making sure that you are invested in the right sort of fund within the pension for your age /risk profile .Could transferring to pensionbee or nest ( there are probably others too) a good option or are they a bad idea?0 -
Ok thanks for your replies
I gather all my info together and post again0
