I bought a set of these recently from Argos as my existing BT cordless phones had finally died. I was quite happy with them for the price I paid (think it was nearer £35 for a dual set with answerphone). But my OH, kids and everyone else that saw them disapproved. To be honest, I suppose they do look more like something Fisher Price would make rather than BT. After a couple of weeks of niggling, I relented and returned them to Argos and bought a set similar to the ones they were replacing from Comet (BT Freestyle ) for about £25. They don't have an answerphone but I have BT call minder anyway. Now peace has been restored in the household.

We have had these for a couple of years now and I must say they are very good.

The styling is bold and chunky but the feel substantial and work well. They have lasted longer than the two previous sets they replaced.

All in all a great bit of kit.
