Your maths is correct...I omitted an additional taxable allowance that I receive each month. including that allowance bring the tax to £647.

Hi can anyone advise me on what tax code 57OT is and what can I do as I know my code should be 125OL or similar. Also do I apply for a tax refund.

How do you "know" you code should be 1250L "or similar"?

As for what can you do, that all depends on whether the code is right or not. Have you changed jobs? Do you have any benefits in kind? Whats your adjusted net income for the year? Have you underpaid in a previous tax year?

Call hmrc, they'll still be open even now. Somethings you might be able to fix (assuming there is something to be fixed) on your tax account but some things will require you to phone them to get it sorted.
