Hi everyone,
I cooked spaghetti bolognese yesterday then covered it and left it on the kitchen side to cool before putting it in the fridge. I then went to bed and forgot to put the leftovers in the fridge, when I woke up I put it straight fridge but it was in the kitchen overnight and not refrigerated. My kitchen is always cold so I know it wouldn’t of been warm as such but I’m wondering if it’s still ok for my son and I to eat tomorrow night?

Make sure it's thoroughly reheated & you'll probably be fine. By which I mean really, really piping hot & kept there for several minutes; my preferred method would be putting it in a saucepan with a couple of tablespoons of water, heating & stirring until the water's visibly boiling, then simmering for at least two minutes. It might dilute the sauce a little but better safe than sorry.
You could use a microwave but will need to stir thoroughly a couple of times in between blasts of heat, to make sure all of it is well-heated.Angie - GC April 25: £491.86/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 21/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0 -

To be honest, unless it is rice, I eat it if this happens. Heat really thoroughly though.0

It'll be fine. Heat it till it's bubbling [ or steaming if it's already mixed with spaghetti].
It's the same thing as making a stew the day before and leaving it overnight till the next day.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
