New self employment advice please

Hi all,
Has anybody here become self employed during bankruptcy?
Me and my husband went bankrupt back in March. Straight forward and no payments required. After struggling to find work after redundancy in august has made the decision to go self employed. Would also be on the CIS scheme.
He was self employed back in 2013. Am I right in thinking he uses the same UTR? Can you just ring HMRC and activate it again rather than applying again?
Or am I missing a bankrupcy complication somewhere?
Thanks in advance!
