Hi,

It has been about 8 months since I last went,

The lads on the gate told me it was open to the public at 5am and I think people are queuing earlier than that time, but I don't think you get a choice where your pitch is they just line you up as you come in,

This time of year it is very busy,

I have never stood at this one but I used to go to buy and I used to arrive for 7.15am and there were very few pitches left by this time as this car boot has a large catchment area as there are very few good car boot's left now,

Try and get a pitch as far away from the entrance road as possible because the dust kicked up by people driving into the car park will get everywhere, they do wet it occasionally but this doesn't stop it for long, as there is always a strong cross wind off the motorway,

The car boot is at Junction 34 on the M62.

Passed Charlie Browns in Wakefield City Centre last week and the carboot was back in full swing!!!

It was doing a roaring trade in the car park (Borough Rd car park I think its called) and its on tarmac so no muddy fields!!!!

hi, is whitley bridge still going? want to do one this Sunday and i know whitley bridge is a big one so hopefully could make a few ££. or if anyone knows of any more in the west yorkshire area that will be on this Sunday i would be most grateful!

Hi Im wanting to do a car boot I've noticed leeds city market has opened one each sunday except first sunday of month but only 5 stalls last week so wondered which would be best to.go to is dewsbury market one still on Sundays if so how much is it thanks.:rotfl::rotfl:

Has Crossgreen been reopened? It got shut a few years ago by the Police and Trading Standards. I live quite near and haven't noticed the traffic we used to get every Sunday.
