mackenzie hall again-possible result??

Options
hi again
after sending my letter weeks ago and the panic last week of the mandate asking for money, i have had a letter today from mh stating the following:
we refer to your letter dated***** november.
we have contacted our clients for a copy of your agreement and statement of account.
your account is currently on hold. please be assured the no further action will be taken against you.
should we not receive the relevant proof from our client within 28 days, we will close your file and return it to our client. our client will then decide what step to take.
as a gesture of goodwill, your payment has been returned.

what do you make of this???? should mh hold all the information.

please advise anybody. many thanks
:j

Looking at their reply, I would say that they niether have, nor expect to get, a copy of the original signed cca.
Looks like a result to me, tc. Well done. :T

Just keep their letter in case they try to collect under a different 'ruse'.
