Bankruptcy advice needed

I've just received a high court writ from marston on behalf of eon who I desputed a bill of over £600 in just 3m of living in my then new home. After fees from another debt collector, ccj and now this I now owe almost £1100 . I also have some other debts shared with my ex husband. Marston are coming to my home in 11 days and I was looking at DRO and bankruptcy. I have some items from bright house that I've been paying for more than a year and are paid up in March. Consoles for my children as I can't afford to buy upfront and they where Christmas presents. I'm wondering what will happen if I applied for bankruptcy or DRO and didn't tell them about what I have from brighthouse. Would it be breaking the law? And do they run checks? They use Equifax to look at my credit score and what I owe and bright house is not on it. I just don't want to upset my kids but I don't have time to pay it all off.

You are correct that the Insolvency Service have a contract with Experian but DRO intermediaries are these days told to check all three credit reports. I do not think you should be hiding things from the Insolvency Service as that is potentially criminal behaviour.

Could you post a statement of affairs and we can have a closer look?
