In what sense hun?
As soon as you get your APR's, go to the site angeladavis has linked and it will tell you to the month when you will become debt free.
Have a play around with it aswell to see how much quicker you could be debt free if you paid more each month!0 -

Well I have done a most stupid thing and forgot I had a direct debit due today! I am £4 short in my account, it is with Bank of Scotland and was wondering if I get to bank on my lunch and pay in money will I avoid a dd charge of £39? No overdraft on account so it will be a failed DD!
Stressing out as poor enough without this!!!

I honestly don't know!
I'm not sure whether DD's come out first thing or end of play! :undecided
Go to the bank and pay in what you can and ask.
If you have incurred a charge, get on the phone to the bank and grovel and plead!
Tell them you are a long serving valuable customer etc and this is the first time you've ever had a charge (assuming it is) and will they refund it as a good will gesture. If they refuse then tell them (nicely) that you will proceed to start reclaiming it then.
Just remember to be nice. They are much more likely to respond to someone polite. If you can, start crying aswell! Make them feel guilty!0 -
another hint, if you provide us with a list of those bills, then we may be able to help you work out how to make savings on them.0

some banks credit cash payments to your account immediately .. I'm afraid I dont know about BoS but it must be worth a try.
can you arrange a small overdraft which would stop this happening again?0 -
Bills aren't really my department, My BF is a total whizz at saving money so can assume he knows every way to save a quick buck - comes in handy some times!!! I really only pay £230 towards mortgage. He says will drop that by £50 in a few months so that could be used to whallop a debt, maybe a smaller one!
My loan is a fixed 3 year one, 2 years and 3 months left to pay on that so that one will defo be gone in 3 years!!
