Hello! Jenny from MSE here. We're just updating our survey sites guide and I was hoping to include an example of someone who really went for it with the online surveys over lockdown and made quite a lot? Is that any of you please?! Thank you :)

Although I belong to quite a few survey sites, and did as many as I could due to losing my paid work, unfortunately many of the survey sites also had a lack of surveys available due to people working from home etc, so I'll stand corrected, but I don't think anyone probably managed to make quite a lot from them, though it won't be for trying. Also, the amount of points etc paid for surveys when they were available, was generally lower too, as companies didn't have the money to pay out.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I actually found Prolific to be busier than usaul during lockdown, 80% of the surveys were to do with cornavirus which in the unfortanate circumstances helped a lot. Now that we are out of lockdown I am finding the surveys are dwindling and it`s taking more time gathering the money.

  • #62 checking in. Great to see so much progress here as I've not updated since start of lockdown. Like many,  I was isolating so couldn't get out to post office (all my extra earnings were ebay sales up to then). I suspended my ebay account for three months. I then sold some large items of furniture/white goods etc as I had downsized home a couple of years ago and garage was full of unused stuff, too good to throw out. That money took me over the £2020 target.  I'm back with ebay now and, although I won't post here anymore, I will carry on saving and wish everyone well and congratulations to us all for achieving what we have up to now ( in such a difficult year !!!). This was a great challenge for me, so thanks to encouraging posts and good luck to all.
  • Sold a few things over the past month which has boosted my total to £549.70
I'm not really where I wanted to be at this point of the year but lockdown had a massive effect on my sales. Really need to start trying to get some more stuff photographed and listed which is my aim for the weekend.
