  • I had set a mini target to hit the £500 mark this month, thanks to hubby's efforts on Curious Cat we're at £503.91 !

Have a few invoices outstanding on PeoplePerHour, but not sure how to count those as I have to pay tax on them too. I'll worry about that later lol

    Hello TrushTush,
Couldn't you just add what you think is the right figure but not deduct the tax each time and deduct the tax element at the end of the financial year? Wouldn't that make things easier for you?

Congrats on beating the mini target btw!

#131 £10.00 Love2Shop voucher added for undertaking the annual interview online for Understanding Society (a longitudinal study I'm part of).

I had to deduct the £110.00 I'd initially included (in error) as this represented the amount waived by the charity for a medical consultation I had in London that I was contributing to each month by standing order. The charity waived £110.00 in view of my low income and in view of the donations I'd already made. The £110.00 is, therefore, a saving and not new money per se.
