CIMA Qualification Advice

Hi All,
I am hoping to begin a formal accountancy qualification ASAP, I have deemed CIMA to be the most relevant to me and this is being fully supported by my employer.
I am 24 and have a BA in Business Management and an MSC in International Business. For those who have completed a CIMA qualification, would you recommend doing the certificate first and then the full qualification, or do you think I can manage by going straight into the formal qualification?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Many thanks.

I completed CIMA around 3 years ago so apologies if some of my experience is now out of date.
The certificate exams are 5 papers if I remember correctly - I had a Maths degree and that only got me one exemption from the 5. Have you checked what papers your degree will exempt you from?
With no accounting experience I think that F1 in particular would be a very difficult paper (P1 a close second) so if you need to do the certificate papers then it wouldn't be a bad thing!0
