Capquest, SRJ etc... for Natwest default overdraft

Options
OK, so I defaulted on an overdraft of £2K and had the account passed over to Capquest. A quick googling and I got to learn what a dodgy lot they were, especially after they threatened that I had to pay 'by saturday' when i called on a tuesday, and 'can't we assume someone else would give you the money?'

So cue the template letter asking them to give you the documents, and funnily enough my account is frozen once, twice... three times until they eventually concede and write to me informing me they will refer this to the original creditor.

Now i've got a letter from SRJ Debt Recoveries asking for a trace confirmation; but I haven't had the interim re-referal from Natwest, so i'm not sure what to do next.

Naturally, I am happy to enter into an agreement to repay the debt now that I am in steady employment, but only on reasonable terms that I can manage.

Any advice?
