  • you need to speak to a whole of market fee's free adviser

They will usually have access to the whole of the uk marketplace for mortgages, although some will exclude banks that dont pay commission namely, britannia bs, hsbc, egg, direct line, ing direct, yorkshire building society etc - you can ask a broker to include these in the research if you want to

the broker will take a lot of details from you regarding your personal situation and finances, and then advise you of a mortgage that matches your needs, they then deal with all the paperwork on your behalf and advise you of the purchase process

    hope this helps

  • Hi,
Dont waste your money on high commissions and brokers fees etc, with a little bit of patience, you can bag the best deal if you do some thorough research on this site and moneysupermarket. Some lenders will lend more than others, but just be careful about what you borrow, its easy first time around to think you can afford the mortgage payment, but work out the 'real' costs involved first. Make sure you have enough behind you for the fees and work out your living expenses to ensure you can cover everything.
Good luck, its hard work but worth it to have your own home.
  • Could always try London and Country... give them a google to find out more... :D
